This Free event is made possible by a CHEF grant from Hannaford Supermarket and the Maine council on aging:

The focus of the CHEF (Connection, Health, and Equity through Food) grant program, funded by Hannaford Supermarkets Eat Well. Be Well initiative, was to increase older adults' equitable access to food and social connections in their communities. Priority was given to projects and programs that serve traditionally underserved populations - diverse older people, veterans, and older people living with disabilities or in rural communities. The grant period was from September 2023 – September 2024. Grants were provided to 107 organizations and will support nearly 300,000 older adults throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York.
