Request a Chaplain

Our chaplains are trained and prepared to support clients dealing with illnesses, sustained stress and trauma, recovery, isolation, family upheaval and more, helping clients restore agency and process existential distresses that often don’t have (easy) answers. We offer a non-anxious and supportive listening presence which is inclusive and open to people of any faith or tradition or no faith or tradition.

Spiritual Care Services of Maine is proud to provide emotional and spiritual support for StrengthenME, a program of Maine’s Department of Health and Human Services.

Through our call line, SCS Maine chaplains provide support by offering reflective listening and a non-judgmental presence for people who are recovering from the effects of the winter storms of 2023-2024 and looking to build resilience and hope going into the 2024-2025 winter season.

This service is 100% free, confidential, and anonymous.

If you would benefit from speaking with one of our chaplains, please leave us a voice message or fill out the online form and a chaplain will be in touch within 48 hours.
