Soften, ground, and reconnect with your breath.

This deeply nourishing class blends the gentle, supportive practice of Restorative Yoga with the grounding elements of Yin Yoga, creating a soothing experience designed to calm your nervous system and release long-held tension.

Interwoven throughout the practice are longer-held Yin postures that gently target the deep connective tissues—ligaments, joints, and fascia—helping to increase circulation and flexibility while cultivating patience and inner awareness.

Perfect for all levels, this class invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and embrace stillness as a path to healing and balance.

If the weather cooperates, we may walk to the shore of Sebago Lake for this class. So, along with comfortable clothes and a yoga matt, bring your walking shoes!

Your Facilitator:

Shelley Randall

Shelley Randall will be ordained on June 1, 2025, by the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine as an Interfaith Minister.   For the bulk of her adult life Shelley worked in Child Protection as a lawyer and with individuals struggling with substance use disorder.

In 2018, Shelley opened up the Yoga Barn and Workshop in Holderness, NH after completing her 200 hour yoga certification.  She continued her yogic journey by completing her 300 hours certification in Yin Yoga with a focus on the Five Elements and Traditional Chinese Medicine theories.  Shelley taught Hatha, Restorative, Yin Yoga, Qi Gong and Meditation from 2018 - 2022 at the Yoga Barn and provided yoga and Qi Gong classes at Substance Use Disorder Treatment Centers and private studios into 2024.  She loves to provide private sessions to individuals and to groups at Retreats.

Shelley continues to practice meditation and completed a five day silent retreat in December of 2024.

Shelley deeply understands the need of individuals in the “helping” professions to turn off their external radars and focus inwardly, quieting the central nervous system. She believes that the best way to enter into a deep state of relaxation is through one’s body wisdom.  Restorative Yoga soothes the systems that we demand so much of in our frenetic lives.

Shelley is thrilled to have chosen Maine to settle in after living and traveling in her camper van for 8 months in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico with her faithful four legged companion, Louise.  When not in Maine you can find Shelley anywhere in the world traveling to Sacred Sites.
